Privacy: what we collect, and why
This page explains what happens to anything you type into this site: the forms, the AI chat, the free checks, the booking page and messages you send us. If something here is unclear, email info@techmaxlabs.tech and a person will answer.
What you give us, and when
We only receive details you type in and choose to send. Nothing is collected in the background.

Your brief travels with you
If you've built a brief with the wizard, the assistant or a check, the forms above attach it when you send them. You'll see a note saying so before you send.
The AI chat
Your conversation is kept in this browser tab until you close it, up to the last 40 messages.
To write replies, each message you send goes to our server.
Chatting on its own doesn't send us your contact details or create an enquiry. That only happens when you send your brief or book a call.
Please don't share passwords, private keys or seed phrases in the chat.
When the assistant runs in guided mode, it follows a script on our server and no AI provider sees your messages.
What stays in your browser
Two things are kept in your browser's session storage: your project brief, so the site doesn't ask the same question twice, and the assistant conversation. Both are cleared when you close the tab.
'Start over' in the assistant clears both.
If you switch the hero drawing between Plain English and Engineer view, your choice is remembered in local storage on this device. It contains no personal data.
This site doesn't use cookies.
What we do with it
We use what you send to reply to you, to prepare a proposal if you ask for one, and to run the project if we work together.
We don't sell it. We don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Where it's stored, and who else handles it
To stop abuse, our server keeps your IP address in memory for about a minute to count requests. It isn't stored or used for anything else.
When you book a call, you use Cal.com. What you enter there (name, email, answers, time) is handled by them under their privacy policy, and shared with us so we can hold the call.
If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own policies. We keep a note of the enquiry so we can follow up.
If you contract with us through Upwork, its own privacy policy applies to everything on that platform.
We don't use analytics that track you personally.
How long we keep it
The free checks keep nothing. The chat and your brief disappear from your browser when you close the tab.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or complete it, and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm who you are before acting.
If you're in the EU or UK, you can also object to how we use your data, ask us to restrict it, ask for a copy in a portable format, and complain to your data protection authority.
If you're in India, you can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you, and raise a grievance with us first, then with the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
No system is perfectly secure, so we collect as little as we can and keep it only as long as we need to.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects data we already hold, we'll tell the people affected.
This is a plain-language policy. If anything here conflicts with a contract you've signed with us, the contract wins.
